A BRAND new production of modern thriller Dial M for Murder is heading to Malvern Theatres.
It centres on charismatic and manipulative but jaded ex-tennis pro Tony Wendice who has given it all for his wife Margot.
When he discovers she has been unfaithful his mind turns to revenge and the pursuit of the ‘perfect crime’.
Tony becomes more tangled in the web of his own making in this masterclass of suspense made famous by Alfred Hitchcock’s world-renowned 1954 film.
The show has an impressive cast, including Tony being played by Tom Chambers, (Top Hat, Strictly Come Dancing) and Diana Vickers, West End star (Little Voice), chart-topping recording artist and The X Factor finalist playing Margot.
Christopher Harper (Coronation Street, Strangers on a Train) performs in the dual roles of Captain Lesgate and Inspector Hubbard.
Dial M for Murder – billed as ‘the definitive seat-gripping drama not to be missed – will be staged at Malvern Festival Theatre from Monday, November 29, to next Saturday, December 4.
