THE FIRST farmers market of the year kicks off in Malvern this weekend.
The regular event, supported by Malvern Hills District Council, will open from 9am until 2pm along Abbey Road on Saturday.
Stalls at the market will be selling everything from fish and meat, fresh fruit and vegetables, puddings, cakes, jams, honey and juices.
Simon Smith, economic development manager from Malvern Hills District Council, said: “We are really pleased to be supporting the farmers’ markets once again this year.
“The markets are a good way of promoting fresh food and healthy eating as well as supporting the growth and development of local businesses.”
