A whole host of festive events are coming to Tenbury Wells this Christmas period.
The lights switch on, on November 18, marked the start of the festive season in the town and now more is coming to keep families entertained in the lead up to Christmas.
First up in the Mistletoe Festival on Saturday, December 2 all through the town from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
Visitors can attend the traditional crowning of the Mistletoe Queen, see live music, and shop at market stalls throughout the town. The festival is a free family day out.
Later on, following the Mistletoe Festival, Santa will arrive in town at 4.30pm for the annual celebration.
Santa will ride through the streets, marking a flagship tradition, which has been taking place in the town since the 1960’s.
On Sunday, December 9, the Frank P Matthews Christmas Fair will welcome over 30 local stallholders with locally made produce, handcrafted goods and gifts.
The fair is free to attend, with free mulled wine or mulled cider on entry. Visitors will also have a chance to win a free Christmas hamper.
Santa will be around to take photo’s with the children. Refreshments and food will also be on offer.
