THE FIRST phase of development of a new retirement village in Malvern has been completed.
Audley Ellerslie, off Abbey Road, has welcomed its first residents after the initial stage of work on the 101-home site was finished last month.
Building of the first 17 apartments has taken 17 months to complete and the remaining 84 are expected to be erected by the end of the first quarter of 2018.
James Cahill, sales manager at Audley Ellerslie, said: “Welcoming the first owners is a milestone for the whole team here and the culmination of 17 months of hard work.
“Returning such local landmarks to their former glory is always a pleasure and we’re looking forward to continuing with the next phase of the development, due to be completed in early 2018.”
