A garage attached to house on Challenger Close was burgled between 7.45pm and 9pm on Saturday. The garage door was found partially opened and a kitchen inside had been searched but nothing appears to have been taken. Crime reference: 0622S 240115

The soft top of a car was slashed while parked on a driveway on Oakfield Road between 10pm Thursday and 12.30am Friday. Another vehicle at the property was also damaged when it was ‘keyed’ having been scratched all along the body. A name was also etched on the bonnet. Crime reference: 0056S 230115

A large group of youths were in a back garden of a home in Hayslan Avenue and ran off when disturbed at 8.20pm on Saturday. The next morning a red angle grinder and a black orbital sander were found there in boxes. Crime reference: 0567S 240115

A VW Golf was stolen from a driveway on Pound Bank Road when overnight between Saturday and Sunday it appeared to have been dragged to the other end of the road where it was found the next morning. The offenders did not gain entry or steal anything inside. 0172S 250115
