SOME of the biggest names in British comedy will head to Malvern next week as part of a ‘festival of laughter’.
Award-winning and renowned Alistair McGowan, Jasper Carrott OBE and Josh Widdicombe will be among those taking to the stage at the event which runs from Friday, October 8, to October 19.
Venues include Malvern Theatres, The Regal Theatre in Tenbury, The Boat House Upton upon Severn and the Malvern Con Club.
The Regal Theatre in Tenbury will also be welcoming the talented Seann Walsh to the stage, where he will be performing one of his hilarious stand-up routines.
Coun Daniel Walton, Portfolio Holder for Tourism and Economic Development at Malvern Hills District Council, said: “It’s great to see this festival will be bringing such a famed line-up of comedians into the district to entertain comedy goers.
“It’s also a great opportunity to visit our much-loved theatres and hospitality venues within the towns.”
