Jay's on hand to clear up at the back and move piano to its new home

WHEN local care home Windsor Court reached out to find someone who could collect and deliver a piano which had been donated to them recently Malvern Town FC hit the right note by coming to their aid.

Central defender Jay Sauntson, owner of 10Ten Haulage, was only too happy to collect the piano and drop it off to them on his way to training.

“We were extremely grateful to the club for stepping in and helping us out,” said Ginny Peachey, community liaison co-ordinator at Windsor Court Care Home in Lansdowne Crescent, Malvern.

“Jay did such a great job and made sure that piano was put into position, even though he had a hard training session ahead of him at the club.

“It just shows what a community-focussed football club Malvern Town are; they had no hesitation in helping us out and now our residents can enjoy the piano, which was donated to us by a very kind member of the public.

“We are lucky to be part of such a supportive and thoughtful local community.”
