HEARTSTART Malvern will be holding its next free training session between 7pm and 9pm on April 15 at St Andrews Church Centre.
The group’s course teaches a variety of life-saving skills, including recognising and treating someone having a heart attack, placing people in the recovery position, providing CPR to patients whose heart has stopped and learning how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED).
Heartstart Malvern training sessions are open to anyone over the age of 11.
No prior knowledge or training is needed to attend a training session and there is no assessment or examination at the end of the session.
Due to high demand it is recommended people book as soon as possible.
