LEDBURY Primary School has been rated good by Ofsted inspectors.

The Longacres based school which has about 450 pupils maintained its level from the last inspection in 2011.

Inspectors reported that pupils were responsive, motivated, well behaved and generally achieved their expected grades in reading and maths.

The school was credited for strong spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and teachers were praised for being engaging and providing creative and well planned lessons.

Ensuring more able pupils achieve higher grades and making better use of data on student’s progress were among the recommendations to help the school be declared outstanding in the future.
