Malvern Buzzards take on Pitchcroft 10k and the Worcestershire County 10k Championships

A TOTAL of 29 Malvern Buzzards entered the latest Pitchcroft 10k, which also incorporated the Worcestershire County 10k Championships.

The three-lap race around the perimeter tracks and footpaths of Worcester Racecourse took place the day after the hottest day on record and a cooler evening was welcomed by those lining up.

Adam Wilson finished first in the MV50 and sixth overall with a time of 34mins and 26secs. Next was Carl Salmon in a time of 37mins and eight seconds and Dave Lawrence in 38mins and 45secs.

Alan Southwick was fourth (39mins, 27secs), Marc Heptinstall fifth (39mins and 28secs), Sim Foreman (40mins and 15secs), Marc Soley (40mins and 51secs), Oliver Eliot-Williams (41mins and 31secs) and Chris Pinder (42mins and 54secs).
