Malvern law firms give St Richard's Hospice a boost with return of will-writing scheme

TWO MALVERN law firms have teamed up with St Richard’s Hospice to offer a will-writing service which will also raise funds for the charity, writes Oliver Savidge.

‘Write a Will Month’ being undertaken by Bradley Haynes Law and WLS which will both offer single and double wills for participants.

The funds collected will go towards the hospice will enable it to continue its good work with patients and their families.

A a single will be £95 and a double one £150.




Ria Simmons, one of the fund-raisers, thanked the solicitors’ firms for donating their time for free and added they were pleased to be re-running the scheme.

“We hope our event will encourage people to take the first step and book an appointment, while helping to tackle the taboos around preparing for the end-of-life.”


Andrew Bradley, chairman and founder of Bradley Haynes Law, said he was delighted to be helping the hospice again.

WLS will be arranging several appointments in Malvern.

The private client executive for WLS Ellis Lee added: “St Richard’s Hospice is a charity that is close to our hearts and we are proud to support such a valuable cause.”

The hospice cares for 3,400 patients and their families each year across Worcestershire.
