A PRODUCTION of Oscar Wilde classic ‘The Importance of Being Ernest’ is being staged by Malvern Theatre’s Young Company, writes Oscar Bland.
They will take to stage between Tuesday and Friday, August 9 and 12, with a play which is dubbed ‘a most popular and endearing comedy’.
The theatre’s Nic Lloyd has adapted the play and will direct the seven young actors who will take to the stage for the 90-minute show.
Malvern Theatres Young Company, founded in 2012, aims to provide aspiring actors with opportunity to perform and nurture the next generation of talent.
The company’s previous production – Under Milk Wood – in 2019 received rave reviews.
