Malvern youths who used catapults to kill birds dealt with by police

POLICE have spoken to youths in Malvern who were using catapults to kill birds.

The incidents were reported by members of the public and those involved were identified by PCSO Kev Tudge of the Pickersleigh and Chase Police Team.

PC Slaymaker and PC Olczak have spoken with the youths in the company of their parents who were supportive of Police intervention.

The youths have been placed onto Level 2 anti-social behaviour, which means should they come to police attention again within the next 12 months, they could have conditions placed on them, which could include, a curfew, not to enter certain areas and not to associate with certain other youths.
