FUND-RAISERS at a Malvern business have collected more than £1,000 in aid of the fight against ovarian cancer to celebrate a decade in business.
Belle Beauty on Worcester Road has so far raised £1,129.70 for Target Ovarian Cancer, a cause close to the staff’s hearts.
The charity was chosen in memory of salon receptionist Jackie Munrowd’s mum, who passed away late last year from ovarian cancer.
Owner Lucy Watkins said: “As a team we wanted to celebrate this milestone, and we thought what better way than giving back to a cause very important to our colleague Jackie.
“The support has been fantastic for this event and we’re proud to support the cause and raise some awareness.
