A MAN has been arrested in connection with the theft of a dog in Malvern.
The man, in his 30s, was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of theft after one-year-old French Bulldog Luna was taken on Elgar Avenue on Thursday around 12.20pm.
He has since been released on police bail as investigations into the incident continue.
Following extensive searches officers, police located the dog on Friday in a hedge at Strensham Services in Worcester, off the M5.
Luna was later reunited the animal with its owner.
The dog was checked over before she was reunited with its owner, and was found to be well and unharmed.
Officers are still appealing to the public to help identify the two men reported to have distracted the owner before the dog was stolen.
