A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after an incident in Malvern this week.
Alexander James Johnson, of West Malvern Road, was charged after attempting to murder an 11-year-old boy.
The 47-year-old was arrested following the incident at a house in the town on Wednesday morning.
Johnson was to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court this morning (Friday).
Det Insp Chris Percival said: “I’d like to reassure people that this was an isolated incident and there was no risk to the wider public.”
