MALVERN’s MP Harriett Baldwin joined local people celebrating the efforts hundreds of big-hearted fund-raisers who trekked over the Malvern Hills to raise money for Help for Heroes.
Mrs Baldwin presented medals to finishers at Priory Park as they arrived from the charity walk in perfect weather conditions.
The long route over the Malverns is 17 kilometres long and takes in 16 hills and 3,000 feet of climbing. More than 350 people took part raising over £10,000 for the armed forces charity.
“Help for Heroes is a tremendous cause and it is heartening to see so many local people literally going the extra mile to raise much needed funds,” she said.
