ALL these goods were seized from a ‘Nottingham Knockers’ door-to-door salesman who was operating in Hanley Castle and Hanley Swan yesterday.
He had a hold-all full of household cleaning products he was trying to sell to residents.
The man was reported for summons to court by Malvern Police’s Safer Neighbourhood Team for operating without a valid pedlars’ certificate.
It comes just days after Malvern SNT officers issued a warning to residents after reports of Nottingham Knockers operating in Malvern and Powick.
The cold callers have been trying to sell second rate goods to residents.
Three people had their bags of cleaning and household products seized and were all been reported for summons for the offence of operating without a pedlar’s licence.
Anyone encountering ‘Nottingham Knocker’ style door-to-door sellers should report them to police by calling 101.
