MALVERN’s award-winning dog-friendly hotel has released its second paw-some annual charity doggy calendar.
Colwall Park Hotel will raise money for Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter (WARS) through the proceeds it receives via calendar sales.
Matt Homans, general manager at Colwall Park, said: “With this being the second year, you never know how these things will go – especially after the success of last year – but the response was once again overwhelming, both online and among the local community.
“If you’re looking for a Christmas gift for dog lovers or wish to make a donation, the calendar makes a great gift or a treat for yourself.
“Any money we can raise will no doubt have a huge impact in helping vulnerable animals this Christmas.”
For the calendar, the hotel ran a competition through its social media channels calling upon locals to submit photos of their pups for the chance for them to be ‘dog of the month’.
Colwall Park then randomly selected 12 winners and several runners-up out of their 300 entries, and then each was invited, with their owners, to a photography day at the hotel.
Calendars are available for £10 from Colwall Park Hotel or its sister hotel, The Malvern.
