AFTER the winter and a series of storms, Dudley, Eunice and Franklin, many of us could have been forgiven for wondering if spring would ever arrive.

But after the wind and rain, this week we had a few welcome glimpses of sunshine and warm weather.

In just over a week’s time, we will be ‘springing forward’ with the clocks advancing an hour and we will – hopefully – be enjoying some more daylight.

Flowers are stating to bloom and poke their heads through the soil to check if it is safe to come out.
