POLICE are working with Malvern Hills District Council in a bid to get an illegal traveller encampment removed from Dukes Meadow Playing Field.
Residents have reported on social media about ‘underage youths driving around, ruining pitches’, adding dog walkers and children were unable to use the recreation ground.
A Malvern Town Council spokesperson added it was working with the police to get the travellers moved on – it is anticipated it will either be today or tomorrow.
