A GREAT Malvern retirement village has been crowned best of the year at a local awards ceremony.
The team from Audley Ellerslie collected their Audley Spirit Award at a ceremony hosted in the West Midlands on November 15.
Outstanding work across all of the departments within the retirement village were commended, while the team were highlighted for always providing a warm welcome to residents and guests.
The award also noted the village’s vibrant atmosphere, excellent facilities, and selection of events run by the team.
Simon Williams, general manager, said: “Winning this award is a brilliant achievement for the team at Audley Ellerslie, and is a reflection of the hard work and dedication put in by the team.
“They have gone above and beyond time and time again to provide exceptional service to our property owners and create the most fantastic, friendly atmosphere in the village and a real sense of community.”
The village incorporates three Grand Victorian mansion buildings built in 1855, and consists of 101 apartments.
It is centred around the Audley Club, which features a swimming pool, library, restaurant, bar/bistro and spa.
Alongside this, flexible care is available as and when needed.
Nick Sanderson, CEO of Audley Villages, added: “This year’s Audley Spirit Awards was a fantastic event where we were able to celebrate and recognise the brilliant work of our Audley employees across the villages.
“The team at Ellerslie has done an exceptional job over the past year, and this award is the perfect way to recognise the hard work they’ve put into making the village a success for both property owners and the wider community.”
