MALVERN pupils had their hard work and dedication rewarded at an annual celebration ceremony.
Hanley Castle High School hosted the event on Thursday, September 17, to mark the achievements of the most talented and hard-working students.
It was also a chance to reflect on a record-breaking year for the school and to say a final farewell to Year 13 students heading off to university and apprenticeships across the country.
More than 150 youngsters were recognised, including Alice Leonard who was handed the Lechmere Medal. It is awarded to the student who has made the most remarkable contribution to the life of school and wider community.
Headteacher Lindsey Cooke said: “No school could be more proud of its students. From the youngster of our Year 7s to our wonderful Year 13 leavers, Hanley Castle students are a constant revelation.
“Every year we expect more of them and every year they deliver.”
