Snow leads to some school closures in Malvern, Upton and Tenbury Wells

A NUMBER of schools will be fully closed tomorrow – including to key workers’ children and vulnerable pupils – because of snow.

In Malvern, Callow End CE Primary School, Great Malvern Primary School, Grove Primary School, Madresfield CE Primary School, Malvern Wells CE Primary School, Northleigh CofE Primary School, Powick CE Primary School, Somers Park School and St James’ CE Primary School, West Malvern will be shut.

Castlemorton CE Primary School, Upton will be closed, along with Lindbridge St Lawrence CE Primary School and Tenbury High Ormiston Academy in Tenbury Wells.

In Martley, Broadheath CE Primary School, Broadwas CE Primary School, Clifton-upon-Teme Primary School, Great Witley CE Primary School, Martley CE Primary School and The Chantry School will be shut.




Remote learning will remain in place at many schools – parents are urged to check with the individual schools.

There will be a partial closure at Leigh and Bransford Primary School, Malvern, which will be closed for keyworker children in Classes R, 5 and 6.
