A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a Malvern teenager died following a serious collision in Walsall last week.
The 17-year-old boy, believed to have been the passenger, lost his life when a Volkswagen Golf crashed a with parked car on Weston Street, Palfrey, in the early hours of last Thursday morning.
Two female passengers, both aged 14, were also injured in the collision – one suffered a broken arm and the other minor injuries.
The 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has also been charged with driving without a licence, no insurance and failing to stop at the scene.
He has been remanded in police custody and will appear at Dudley Magistrates Court tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.
