Three Malvern photographers to have pictures featured in popular county calendar

THREE Malvern photographers are celebrating after being chosen as winners for a popular county calendar.

Jonathan Brusby’s snap of a snowy Malvern Link, Paul Manning’s photo of a swan at Spetchley Gardens and Peter Forster’s image of snowy trees on North Hill will be featured in the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust’s 2019 calendar.

The annual photography competition run from November to April by the county’s largest conservation charity aims to highlight the beauty of Worcestershire’s wildlife and wild places.

Wendy Carter, organiser of the competition for the WWT said: “Worcestershire is home to some very talented photographers and with more than 220 entries from 44 photographers, judging was tough.

“The twelve winning entries are great images and we’re really proud to have another great calendar which will help to raise funds for our conservation work right across the county.”

The calendars, costing £7 each, are available to buy from the WWT offices at Lower Smite Farm, Hindlip, as well as online at www.worcswildlifetrust.co.uk/shop.
