Malvern Editorial 23rd Feb, 2022 Updated: 23rd Feb, 2022   0

TENBURY Bridge is set to close at 2pm today so Highways teams can remove a large amount of flood debris from under the arches.

The closure will be in place for an estimated eight hours.

Diversions will be in place via the A456, A49, A4112, Stockton, Leysters, Oldwood, Cross Street, Market Street and Teme Street.

Pedestrians can get across the bridge safely with the assistance of the contractors working there. Anyone needing to cross should ask the on-site workers to escort them.

Visit https://check-for-flooding.service.gov.uk/alerts-and-warnings for flood alerts and anyone needing urgent help on the roads should callĀ  the Highways Control Centre on 01905 845676.
