Two men have been charged with cannabis production following a warrant at an address in Bestmans Lane, Kempsey yesterday (Tuesday, November 26).
Leonard Kriashi, 33, of Clockhouse Parade Mansions, North Circular Road, London and Erald Sela, 24, of Bestmans Lane, Kempsey were both charged with producing a controlled class B drug – cannabis today (Wednesday, November 27).
They are due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court tomorrow (Thursday, November 28).
West Mercia Police used force to enter the building on Bestmans Lane following concerns raised by National Grid over irregular power usage at the location.
Upon entry they discovered approximately 1,500 mature plants and vacuum-packed crops growing in five rooms, together with horticultural growing products and multiple power transformers and sockets.
