THE HANLEY Voice Community Choir will welcome back one of the village’s finest musicians to perform alongside them in their Autumn concert.
Christian Cox returns after completing a Masters in Musical Performance at Bath Spa University.
He gained his place at the university after gaining A-Levels in both Music and Music Technology.
Christian is not the only Hanley Castle High School music student who has gone on to further success.
Fredrica Bodman, Sian Gborie, Lawrence Astill, Rebecca Harbour, Anthony Tustin, Harvey Carter, Josh Evans, Ben Carter and Rohnan Whitebeam have all gone on to study music-related courses at a variety of top universities.
James Felton, head of music at Hanley Castle, said: “A world without music is a world not worth fighting for.
“We are looking forward to welcoming Christian back to the school in the same way as we look forward to welcoming new students to the school in the coming years.”
