VISITORS driving to the Malvern Hills tomorrow are being warned to avoid Upper Beacon Road car park as it will be closed for essential tree safety works.
To safely remove the tree adjacent to Beacon Road, a small path diversion will also be in place for pedestrians and cyclists.
The Malvern Hills Trust said people should be aware the diversion follows a track and trail and may not be suitable for those with pushchairs or mobility scooters.
The trust added Lower Beacon Road car park would remain open and alternative car parks could be found on Jubilee Drive and at West of England car park.
The car park and access up Beacon Road are expected to be open on Friday, January 28.
“Thank you for your patience whilst this work is carried out,” the trust added.
