A NUMBER of street parties took place across Malvern Hills District as communities came together to celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Among them was the ‘Wilbert Road Community Jubilee Street Party’ on Sunday – the name deriving from a hybrid of Wilton Gilbert and Lower Wilton Road.
More than 70 people attended and traditional games were played.
There was also a Queen Elizabeth ‘Platinum Motorcycle Jump’ where a Queen figure on a toy motorbike made a leap of faith across some model double decker buses – click below to watch the video.
And there was a cake competition, along with contests to decorate a teapot, pin the tail on the corgi, a quiz, royal treasure hunt and – of course – lots of tea and cake.
There was also plety of fun, food, drink and cake at another street party in The Glade.
