BARNARDS Green slumped to a 96-run defeat to Birmingham League Division One leaders Kidderminster.
Green were dismissed for 113 after the runaway table-toppers were bowled out for 209.
Kidderminster’s working total didn’t include a half-century but a third-wicket partnership of 60 between Ben Twohig (47) and Neil Pinner (38) was the highlight with Green seamer Phil Harris picking up 3-38.
In reply, Green skipper Ryan Tongue stood firm against a devastating opening spell from Liam Weston (4-16) and Connor Smith (4-27) which reduced them to 17-5.
However, when he was seventh out with the score at 87, the 24 points were destined for Kidderminster.
