COLWALL suffered a narrow one-wicket defeat to Evesham in Worcestershire County League Division One.
Evesham posted 249-9 from their allocated 50 overs, with Ali Ashgar (54) top scoring for the home side.
Michael Gooch (3-32) and Nick Brown (3-63) were pick of the bowlers for Colwall who were limited to 226-9 in their reply.
Opener Joseph Blight top scored, striking ten boundaries on his way to 51.
