RAIN was a pain for Barnards Green as they suffered a six-wicket reverse to Oswestry in Birmingham League Division One.
Adam Wiffen (67) top scored for Green in their total of 239 all out with Oswestry’s Ian Davies (4-50) and Roman Walker (3-24) doing the damage with the ball.
The Shropshire side’s response was interrupted by the rain, leaving them with a revised target of 190 which reached they reached with ease after Joe Carrasco scored 64 and Joe Clarke crashed 58.
Clarke’s Worcestershire team-mate George Rhodes took 3-34 for Green.
Green entertain Tamworth on Saturday.
