STEPHEN Cleal wants to keep the good feeling going after Malvern Town moved into the play-off places with a 3-0 win against Thatcham Town.
Goals from Joe Tumelty, Sam Clark and Ryan Brunt saw the Hillsiders return to winning ways at the HDAnywhere Community Stadium.
The result means Malvern sit fifth in the Southern League Division One South table, two points clear of the chasing pack in the race for a play-off place.
And Cleal wants his players to keep demanding more from each other as the season draws to a close.
Cleal said: “We won differently, we’ve blown teams away before and played some fantastic football and scored some great goals.
“We played some good football at times and at this stage of the season, it’s not about how you play, it’s about the results you pick up.
“It’s another three points towards our record-breaking season.
“We can only control what we do, there’ll be loads of changes between now and the end of the season.
“All we can do is control the controllables which is looking after ourselves.
“We’ve just got to keep the good feeling going and demanding more of each other.”
Malvern received a blow before kick-off with on-loan goalkeeper Josh Bishop recalled by parent club Kidderminster Harriers.
That meant Ryan Smallwood took the gloves as the Hillsiders looked to extend their unbeaten run to 14 matches.
Malvern broke the deadlock on 23 minutes when Tumelty finished Jack Watts’ cross from the right from six-yards out.
However, Thatcham won a contentious penalty on 33 minutes only for Smallwood to save Shamar Moore’s scuffed effort from the spot.
And Smallwood produced a fine stop soon after to keep Malvern ahead at the break.
Malvern doubled their lead on 75 minutes when Clark fired a powerful effort into the roof of the net after good work down the right.
Smallwood kept the home side’s two-goal lead intact as he denied a Thatcham player with his feet when one-on-one.
And substitute Brunt completed the scoring four minutes into injury time when he chested the ball past the Thatcham goalkeeper.
Malvern are next in action against Bristol Manor Farm on Saturday, April 12 with kick-off at 3pm at The Creek.
