HANLEY Castle & Upton slumped to their seventh Worcestershire County League Division Three defeat of the season at the hands of high-flying Alvechurch & Hopwood.
Only Tony Hutchings (33), Grant Mathews (30 not out) and Olly Lewis (15) broke into double figures as Hanley were back in the pavilion for just 123 inside 47 overs.
A&H then eased to victory, racing to 126-3 after just 17 overs with the help of 30 extras.
Second-from-bottom Hanley are on the road to Netherton on Saturday.
