MALVERN TOWN will be looking to extend their winning streak to six games tonight (Tuesday) when they take on mid-table Black County Rangers.
After Saturday’s game against Wellington Amateurs was postponed – which has now been rearranged to be played on May 10 – the Hillsiders have been out of action since the 5-2 victory over Bromyard Town ten days ago.
Black Country Rangers currently sit 15th in the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division and have won three of their last ten league outings.
The previous encounter between the two sides came back in September when Rangers held Malvern to a 1-1 draw at the HDAnywhere Community Stadium.
An own-goal had given Malvern the lead early on before Taryll Davies levelled 15 minutes from the end.
Victory for Malvern tonight would see them consolidate their fourth place position going into the remaining four games of the season.
However, a defeat could see Malvern drop to as low as seventh depending on results elsewhere.
