PROMOTION-chasing RUSHWICK had no answer to new Worcestershire County League Division Three leaders Lye as they fell well short in their run chase.
Lye amassed a fantastic 455-9 from their 50 overs with the help of some impressive scoring by Tofiq Anwar (91), Tanzeel Rehman (72) and Waqas Ahmed (65).
In reply Stuart Parker (50) top scored for Rushwick who were all out for 229 after 47 overs, giving Lye a comprehensive 226-run victory to take top spot.
Rushwick make the trip to Eastnor on Saturday.
