RUSHWICK moved to the summit of the Worcestershire County League Division Three table with a resounding seven-wicket victory over Netherton.
Netherton were asked to bat where they posted 231-7 from their allocated 50 overs with the help of some big scoring from Matthew Lowe (46), Troy Lee (59) and Mohammed Nawaz (44).
In reply, Rushwick got off to a flying start through openers Duncan Cooper (71) and Stuart Parker (76).
It was then left to Niwantha Indima (16 not out) and Stuart Tipper (22no) to push the hosts to 232-3 in the 48th over to claim victory.
Rushwick make the trip to Avoncroft on Saturday.
