DAVID WHITE hit an unbeaten half century for Worcester Nomads who remain top of Worcestershire County League Division One following their seven-wicket victory over Hagley.
Hagley were put into the bat after losing the toss where Jon McDonnell (45) and Michael Stead (41) offered any resistance as the visitors were bowled out for 143 in the 46th over.
Cameron Blakey (3-31), Patrick O’Driscoll (2-37) and Ben Schiffmann (2-49) shared the wickets for Nomads who raced to 144-3 in their reply.
After Oliver Scurry (3) was dismissed early on, Nomads recovered with Guy Davies (33) and White (56 not out) pushing the score to 85 before the former was removed.
White then formed partnerships with Ollie Ranscombe (28) and Jamie Oliver (10no) to guide Nomads to victory.
Nomads entertain Pedmore on Saturday.
