WINLESS Malvern stay cemented to the foot of the Worcestershire County League Division Three table after their seven-wicket defeat to Martley.
Malvern were bowled out for 172 after being put into bat with wicket-keeper Matt Carver (50) top scoring.
Alex Basford (3-35), James Ganderton (2-46) and Oliver Dunks (2-44) were pick of the Martley bowlers.
In reply Martley eased to 173-3 with the help of Basford’s unbeaten 88.
Struggling Malvern travel to third-from-bottom Eastnor on Saturday.
